Making Stuff, Trying New Things, Going on Adventures

In the era of SEO-driven slop we find ourselves in, having good go-to sources for information is paramount. Here are some of my favorites. Some caveats:

Technical and Programming

linux.die.net/man: useful for looking at Linux man pages on the web. Useful if you're momentarily away from your Linux box, or if you're using one of those minimal installs that don't include the man pages.

RealPython: When I'm trying to do something in Python (including many libraries) and I need a little more hand-holding than the official docs, RealPython is where I go.

Paul's Online Math Notes: Useful resources for calculus and differential equations. As you get to college level math, resources breaking things down get fewer and farther between.

Food and Cooking

The Woks of Life: Authentic, clearly-written Chinese recipes.

Home Improvement

This Old House: The only caveat is that articles don't seem to be well indexed. You might need to do a site-specific search with an external search engine to find what you need.

I'm still trying to find good resources on cleaning and organization.
